'Megan Fox And John C. Reilly To Follow 'The Dictator'

Sacha Baron Cohen has found himself two more lowly minions.

"The Dictator" continues to gather its own mini-nation of followers as both Megan Fox and John C. Reilly have joined the cast of Cohen's latest outrageous comedy, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Both Fox and Reilly will just be making cameos in the film, though the details of their roles -- as with most of the film's details -- are being kept closely under wraps.

The former "Transformers" vixen and "Cedar Rapids" scene-stealer join Anna Faris, Ben Kingsley and Jason Mantzoukas in "the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed." Cohen is said to be playing both a goat herder and the deposed foreign ruler who gets lost in the U.S.

(Why does the pairing of  "Sacha Baron Cohen" and "goats" make us a little nervous?)

Megan Fox apparently knows a thing or two about dictators already, having referred to her 'Transformers" director Michael Bay as both "Napoleon" and "Hitler" in describing his on-set behavior (remarks which supposedly led to Fox being fired from "Transformers 3"). Why do we have a feeling that such brazen outspokenness inspired Cohen to approach Fox for his latest large-scale prank disguised as a movie?

Anyway, we know John C. Reilly can do comedy, having already split a few sides with his turns in "Talladega Nights," "Step Brothers" and "Cyrus." And you know what? Megan Fox is getting to be quite the gifted comedian herself -- we actually liked her portrayal of a somewhat clueless succubus demon in "Jennifer's Body" and her wink-wink self-parody of sorts in "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People."

So yeah, who needs giant robots, Megan? Keep going with the funny!

"The Dictator" will begin ruling with an iron fist on May 11, 2012.
